Light path in the Wadden Sea—Wall Art, Fine Art Print, Canvas, Acrylic Print

A rhythmic sequence of dark posts extends across the bright expanse. A maritime landscape element gives rise to a reduced composition about direction, order, and infinity.

This work belongs to the “Lines of Silence” series, a series of monochromatic, minimally condensed landscapes. The starting point is the flowing forms of the Wadden Sea: tidal creeks, sandbanks, waterways, and individual maritime markers. However, through artistic reduction, they increasingly detach from a concrete location and become images about vastness, orientation, and inner movement.

Curving lines lead through open spaces, disappear on the horizon, or encounter isolated human traces. Boats, posts, and figures appear as silent reference points in a landscape between water and land, proximity and distance, departure and contemplation.

The works are conceived as a continuous sequence of images. Individually, they maintain their serene presence; in diptychs or triptychs, their lines and forms enter into a visual dialogue with each other.

Concept and artistic design are my own. The visualization was achieved using generative AI as an integral part of my creative process.
