Wind traces

Wind Traces does not depict windsurfers as an athletic snapshot, but as fleeting apparitions in a vast, almost dematerialized landscape. Sails, bodies, water, and horizon partially dissolve into color, light, and motion.

The vertical blurring reduces the figures to essential shapes and color accents. Speed becomes a visual trace, the concrete event a memory of movement. At the same time, the large bright areas create tranquility and distance, forming a conscious counterpoint to the dynamism of windsurfing.

The mini-series moves between representation and abstraction, combining a maritime atmosphere with a minimalist, almost meditative visual language.
