This work from the series "Shoreline Dreams – Trees by the Sea" is a radical condensation of landscape into an image of contrasts: light and darkness, warmth and cold, presence and emptiness. A clear, almost architectural vertical line divides the composition into two color spaces – a deep, calm blue on one side and an intensely glowing red on the other. At this boundary stands a single tree, reduced to its silent silhouette, becoming the visual and thematic center.
The reflective water surface picks up and intensifies this duality. The reflection acts not merely as a repetition, but as an independent pictorial space in which the color tension further condenses. The minimalist formal language focuses on the essential: the relationship between space, color, and perception. In this work, the coastal landscape becomes an abstract stage for inner states – a threshold where transitions become visible.
