"Surf in Pastel" belongs to my series "Ocean Surf", in which I translate the dynamics of the ocean into a reduced, atmospheric visual language. The work centers on a breaking wave, whose energy is experienced not as raw force, but as finely structured movement.

The surf dissolves into foamy lines that appear almost graphic, lending the water a delicate, almost ornamental quality. The color scheme is deliberately restrained, moving between warm, pastel orange and rosé tones, and cool blue and white nuances. The sky and distant horizon merge into a soft, light-filled expanse, giving the scene a calm, meditative depth. The hinted coastline in the background enhances the feeling of vastness and timelessness.

The composition follows my reduced, abstract approach: nature is not documented, but interpreted and emotionally condensed.

Concept and artistic design are my own; visualization is achieved with generative AI as an integral part of my creative process.

This work explores the quiet moment of the surf – the gentle transition between movement and dissolution, between energy and calm.
