Bearing Light—Wall Art, Fine Art Print, Canvas, Acrylic Print, Aluminum Dibond

"Bearing Light" is part of my "Sea Surf" series, in which I explore the relationship between light, movement, and form in a maritime context. The focus is on a powerfully rolling wave, its inner structure permeated by the warm light of the low sun. The light seems to move along the wave form, defining it from within. The surf thus appears less as an external movement and more as energy shaped by light.

The contrast between the warm orange of the sunlight and the cool blue tones of the water creates an intense, harmoniously tense color drama. The calm surface of the sea in the background enhances the presence of the wave and draws the eye to the moment of its formation. The work follows my intention not to realistically depict natural phenomena, but to condense their visual and emotional essence.

The concept and artistic design are mine; the visualization is done with generative AI as a deliberately used tool in the creative process.

The work shows the wave as a bearer of light – as a form in which energy visibly manifests itself.
