Tidal creek—Wall art, Fine art print, Canvas, Acrylic print

Like a powerful line, the tidal creek meanders through the quiet landscape. Its flowing form transforms the Wadden Sea into an almost abstract composition of movement, contrast, and vastness.

This work belongs to the series "Lines of Silence", a series of monochromatic, minimalist landscapes. The starting point is the flowing forms of the Wadden Sea: tidal creeks, sandbanks, waterways, and individual maritime signs. Through artistic reduction, however, they increasingly detach themselves from a concrete location and become images of vastness, orientation, and inner movement. Curved lines lead through open spaces, disappear at the horizon, or encounter isolated human traces. Boats, poles, and figures appear as silent reference points in a landscape between water and land, proximity and distance, departure and stillness. The works are conceived as a coherent sequence of images. Individually, they retain their quiet presence; in diptychs or triptychs, their lines and forms enter into a visual dialogue with each other.

The concept and artistic design are mine. The visualization was realized using generative AI as an integral part of my creative process.
